span class="inline inline-center">Fleeing: Foreign nationals carry their belongings before boarding a bus back to Zimbabwe from a temporary refugee camp in Chatsworth, south of Durban on Sunday. The repatriation of the 700 Zimbabwean refugees wanting to leave South Africa in the wake of xenophobic attacks is under way after President Jacob Zuma said a day earlier that," preparations for those wanting to leave the country will be made". The spate of attacks on foreigners in South Africa that has claimed the lives of at least seven people is chillingly reminiscent of even deadlier violence in 2008 that killed 62 and sent thousands seeking refuge.
