he driver of a Kopaja minibus has been named a suspect in the death of a former Senayan subdistrict deputy head, the police said Saturday.
Identified by the initials CA, the driver of the Kopaja, which plies the Tanah Abang-Ragunan route, hit Muhammad Hasyim, 53, while he was driving his motorbike Friday on Jl. Pangeran Antasari in South Jakarta.
The police said CA would be charged under Article 310 of the Traffic Law for negligence leading to death.
Hasyim was a civil servant for 30 years, and before his death, worked at the Kebayoran Baru district office.
His widow, Wardah, 34, said her husband was on his way to oversee mosquito control in a neighborhood in South Jakarta.
