s many as 145 senior high school students from Surakarta, Central Java are being retested on the computer-based national exam starting on Monday because the computer network was disrupted last week.
The principal of the state vocational high school SMK, Surakarta Sriyadi, said the retest was only being conducted over two days, in hopes that it would run smoothly on Tuesday.
Last week, many questions in the subjects of the Indonesian language, English and mathematics would not appear on computer screens because of trouble in the computer network.
Eleven high schools and vocational schools in the city participated in the computer-based test, implemented for the first time this year, while others conducted conventional tests.
