he Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) suggested the establishment of an Asia-Africa Business Council (AABC) that would be aimed at facilitating business cooperation between the two continents.
"[The AABC] establishment has become an important issue, as a center to improve exchange of information in terms of the development of business cooperation in Asia and Africa," said Kadin chairman Suryo Bambang Sulistio after the opening of the Asian-African Business Summit in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Suryo said that through the council, businesspeople would be able to identify various economic and business potentials in the regions, which could boost investment and trade.(+++)
