enezuelan Vice President Jorge Arreaza arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in East Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon to attend the 60th anniversary of the Asian-African Conference.
Antara reported that Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Yuddy Chrisnandi welcomed Arreaza, who arrived on his private jet.
Venezuela takes a position as an observer in the conference being held in Jakarta and Bandung on April 19-24.
According to the Foreign Ministry, 32 heads of state and governments and 86 country representatives will participated in the conference. Among heads of
state and governments that have confirmed their attendance are from Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Gabon, Iran, Jordan, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Singapore, Sudan, Swaziland, Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
