President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, First Lady Iriana and their entourage have flown to Kuala Lumpur to attend the ASEAN Summit.
The President and his entourage departed in the presidential aircraft at 14:40 and are expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 17:00.
Accompanying the President were Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto, Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Yuddy Chrisnandi and Deputy Jakarta Governor Djarot Syaiful Hidayat.
Antara news agency reported on Monday that the President was scheduled to take part in a gala dinner with all ASEAN heads of state at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre at 20:00.
The 26th ASEAN Summit will be officially opened on Monday.
The summit will be conducted in two sessions: a plenary session in Kuala Lumpur and a retreat in the archipelago of Langkawi. (++++)
