A

land dispute between palm oil companies PT Budi Murni Panca Jaya (BMPJ) and PT Agro Mitra Rokan (AMR) has implicated Rokan Hulu Regent Ahmad as a suspect, as he is believed to have provoked a third party to harvest oil palm on the disputed land.

Riau Police chief Brig. Gen. Dolly Bambang Hermawan confirmed that investigators had raised Ahmad'€™s status from witness in the case of oil palm theft, to suspect.

'€œWe have sent him a summons and he is scheduled to be questioned on April 30,'€ Bambang told journalists.
