he Bekasi regency chapter of the National Land Agency (BPN) in West Java has extended is land administration service into the evening to cope with mounting paperwork.
'If we don't intensify our service, the paperwork will just keep piling up,' Bekasi BPN head Dirwan Dachri said in Cikarang on Saturday as quoted by Antara news agency.
Every day, Dirwan said, the agency received 800 to 1,000 documents related to land buying and selling, grants, certificate verification and land measurement.
The agency also deploys a mobile service called Larasita to reach residents in villages in the evening.
The mobile office, which is open from 7 p.m., is available until the early hours.
