A Welsh international rugby league player has died after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest during a club game.
The Rugby Football League says Danny Jones was playing for northern English club Keighley Cougars when he collapsed after being replaced early in Sunday's League 1 match at London Skolars.
The 29-year-old Jones was treated by paramedics at the ground before being taken to a hospital where he died.
RFL chief operating officer Ralph Rimmer says "it is always devastating when someone so young dies in these circumstances. Danny was a popular and talented rugby league player." (***)
