he state losses from an alleged corruption case involving the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Special Task Force (SKK Migas) and PT Trans Pacific Pertrochemical Indotama may be larger than the US$156 million originally estimated, according to the National Police.
Detective division chief Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso said that the police were waiting for an official estimate of the state losses from the National Audit Agency (BPK).
"[The US$156 million] was just an original estimate from the detective division. We are waiting for the audit results from the BPK. It's possible the number may be much larger," he told reporters on Wednesday at the National Police headquarters in South Jakarta.(++++)
