The Aburizal Bakrie camp and its rival, the Agung Laksono camp, held a meeting at the Bakrie Tower on Friday.
The meeting, hosted by Aburizal Bakri and accompanied by House Speaker Setya Novanto, was not open to the public or to the national media.
The Agung camp was represented in the meeting by Yorris Raweyai.
Setya said the meeting was not special.
'I regularly meet Aburizal to share developments in the legislature,' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
He, however, said the meeting between Aburizal and Yorris was held to seek a reconciliation to end the party's prolonged leadership split.
'We and Yorrys discussed how the reconciliation should be held in a calm manner. We have common views (to reconcile),' he said. (rms)(++++)
