The ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) has urged people to give more time to President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to do his job despite the ongoing hardships.
'Please give Pak Jokowi a chance because what he has been dealing with is not easy,' PDI-P secretary-general Hasto Kristiyanto said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Hasto, on behalf of the party that nominated Jokowi in the 2014 presidential election, made the call amid increasing criticism of policies introduced by Jokowi that were considered disappointing.

Perhaps if the PDI-P and its leadership were to step aside from controlling the President, positive things could actual happen. Instead, they want to pretend it is other people that are the problem.

Give him time? How much time? What about those living in abject poverty, for whom every day it is a struggle to stay alive? Each passing day things seem to get worst and worst. So giving him more time is something we cannot do because we don't have time!
