L

inda Natalia Rahma, the wife of Paramadina University political analyst Yudi Latif, died in a single-car accident on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road in Bambu Apus, Cipayung, East Jakarta, early on Monday.

Before the accident occurred, Linda was on an inbound trip from Tasikmalaya in West Java to Jakarta after visiting her father'€™s tomb. Traveling with her was her mother, her two children and one maid, who were reportedly safe and being treated at the Harapan Bunda Hospital in East Jakarta.

Linda'€™s body was taken to the Raden Said Sukanto Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, then to her house in Bintaro, South Jakarta.

East Jakarta Police traffic unit head Adj. Sr. Comr. Gunawan said on Monday that the accident was still being investigated by the police.

'€œShe reportedly lost control of her car then hit a road separator. We have just started to investigate the scene to find out the exact cause of the accident,'€ he said as quoted by kompas.com.

The Mercedes Benz driven by Linda was held as evidence by the Ciracas Police in East Jakarta.
