refer to an article titled 'Muslims, Buddhists team up to bring about peace for Rohingya' (The Jakarta Post, Nov. 23, p2).
Human beings must be treated decently. The people smugglers must be hunted down and punished severely. Myanmar and Bangladesh's foreign ministers will be warmly welcomed to attend a meeting to be hosted by Malaysia to solve the migrant crisis.
Give the poorest of the poor a chance to lead a decent life. Shame on Myanmar, a Buddhist nation, and especially shame on their politicians for not practicing compassion.
Asian moneybags China and Japan can be shining examples and pour resources into the issue to help the Bangladeshis and Rohingya. Then developed nations will respect Asians.
