The Health Ministry officially launched a new public service announcement video on the dangers of secondhand smoke in coordination with the World Lung Foundation. The video is a response to the high number of passive smokers in Indonesia.
Your comments:
The lack of enforcement is the biggest problem in Indonesia to increase awareness on the dangers of smoking, especially secondhand smoke like that around pregnant mothers and children.

Waste of time. Nothing will be done as long as pockets are being filled by the tobacco companies and until Indonesians ignore the laws.
How many restaurants in shopping malls still allow smoking, while it has been banned since 2005?
I get pissed off every time I go to them and end up smelling some smoke whilst eating my food. It's disgusting. Nothing will change here.

Walk out of the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar or Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta or for that matter any of our airports and you enter into a dense fog of cigarette smoke.
These airport areas are all smoke-free by law, but none are! Can't we do better?

Oh thanks a heap for telling us the dangers of secondhand smoke. But do you know how we could avoid this bad thing for just half a day, here in Jakarta?
