he East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Creative Economy and Tourism Office, along with the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (Asita), has begun to prepare tour packages to welcome an upcoming international surfing event on Rote Island.
East Nusa Tenggara Creative Economy and Tourism Office Head Marius Jelamu said on Friday that the surfing event would be held at Nemberala Beach on Rote Island, Rote Ndao district, in November this year.
'The occasion of the international surfing event is a good opportunity for East Nusa Tenggara province to introduce and promote its tourism potential,' Jelamau noted.
Marius expressed hope that surfers and foreign tourists taking part in the event would enjoy the natural beauty and cultural and culinary aspects of the tourist destinations in the province and the district.
