he dead body of an unidentified woman was found floating in the Kalibaru River in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Kramat Jati Police chief Comr. Handini said that the body was found stuck within a clogged mass of garbage in the river by a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver at 7 a.m.
'The body was stuck in garbage located under the Bulak Rantai bridge [in Kalibaru],' Handini said Tuesday as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.
Handini added that the police had yet to find the cause of the death and had sent the body to the National Police Hospital in Kramat Jati for an autopsy.
Kalibaru Police's Criminal Unit head Adj. Comr. Bara Libra Sagita said that the head of the woman was bleeding when she was found.
