Carrying stylish and simple gadgets at all times is a must for radio announcer and beauty blogger Ucita Pohan.
Arming herself with a smartphone, camera and a power bank in the form of a compact mirror case, Ucita shares her flair for beauty and fashion with her 10,000 or so Instagram followers.
'I prefer to choose gadgets that are easily connected to other devices. I only buy things that I need. I am not a kind of person who is tirelessly seeking the latest high-tech gadgets,' she said.
As a host of the Fun Fearless Female program at Cosmopolitan FM Jakarta, Ucita interviewing smart and inspiring women. Aside from contributing fashion and beauty articles to several websites, she also shares beauty tips and tricks ' and the snapshots of her daily life on her blog, Path and Instagram.
'I post OOTD [Outfit of the Day] and reviews of make-up products. Like other Instagram users, I also love sharing pictures of scenery, appealing meals and new hang out spots.'
In collaboration with PinkEmma, Ucita has launched a ready-to-wear line dedicated to women with plus-size and curvy bodies.
Always in her bag
For daily activities, I always bring my iPhone 5, iPod 5 and Fujifilm X-S1. I use the iPod for sports and playing my song lists.
I love the Fujifilm camera because it produces quality pictures that can easily be shared with other digital devices. This mirrorless camera is user-friendly, enabling individuals who don't know much about photography to snap great pictures.
To keep my phone fully charged, I use a power bank in the form of compact mirror case, which I bought from an online store. It totally looks cute in my bag.
Other gadgets that I have are a pink little bag flash drive and an Android One phone, which I occasionally use.
Apps for style
Instagram and Path are the most vital social media apps for me. I upload at least three Instagram posts per day. In my spare time, I love checking my Path timeline and also post or repost things that interest me.
To touch up my pictures, I use VSCO Cam, Squaready and Fuzel Collage. At the moment, I like creating short dubbed videos with Dubsmash.
I watch videos on YouTube and track my daily morning runs through Nike+ Running. Whenever I am driving, Google Map is always on to navigate the best route.
For serious tasks
I prioritize sound quality when listening to music. My choice fell on the orange-and-pink Aerial7 headphones due to their colorful appearance and connectivity to smartphones, laptops and turntables. I sometimes wear them when hosting my radio talk show.
They were hard-won headphones. This limited-edition product ran out of stock in Jakarta. So, I called the distributor and asked them to ship the last headphones from its Bali store to Jakarta.
For making presentation slides, uploading my articles and editing photos, I employ my 13-inch Macbook.
