10-year-old boy, Rian Heriawan, was undergoing intensive medical treatment at Kramatjati Police Hospital in East Jakarta as of Tuesday evening after falling victim to a stray bullet when he was playing in his house on Jl. Gamprit II Ujung in Jatiwaringin, Pondokgede district, Bekasi City.

Lina, 34, one his neighbors, said that the incident happened when Rian was playing with his playstation console at 10 a.m. All of a sudden, Rian felt a blow to the left part of his back, according to tribunnews.com.

He cried so loud that his mother Ella, 35, who was sewing in the house, heard him. Upon approaching Rian, the boy said he felt as if there was someone had hit his back. Ella said she was amazed as she had not hear any other sounds except the cry of her son.

When she opened Rian's shirt, she was shocked to see her son was in a pool of blood. In a panic, Ella rushed him to the nearby clinic. He was afterwards transferred to the hospital. (hhr)(+++)
