he police have arrested two 'jockeys', or persons offering to take Korean proficiency tests for others to gain employment permits, in Sumedang, West Java.
The test was carried out at the Inkopin campus in Jatinangor, Sumedang, where thousands of jobseekers applied for employment in South Korea.
According to a metronews.com report, the test organizing committee discovered the two jockeys when they checked their test forms with the ID cards they brought with them.
"Data on the test forms is different from their ID cards," Jatinangor Police chief Comr. Roedy de Vries said on Sunday evening.
Roedy said that the two jockeys tried to enter the test room to replace the applicants. "However, they ended up being detained by the police for further questioning," he said. (hhr)
