Minister insulted President: Tjahjo

H

ome Minister Tjahjo Kumolo hasdisclosed there is a minister who has insulted President Joko"Jokowi" Widodo and the record has been directly heard byJokowi himself.

"Who is the minister who is quote-unquote not loyal, let alone belittles the meaning of the President? As a minister, I have the information and I'm sure Pak President has been informed about that too," Tjahjo said after a breaking-of-the-fast meeting at the official house of Coordinating Minister for Human Resources and Culture Development Puan Maharani on Sunday evening.

"It was certainly (recorded). Who the is minister is not in my authority to disclose," Tjahjo said as quoted by liputan6.com.

According to Tjahjo, what was done by the minister who insulted Jokowi is like a peanut forgetting about its shell, meaning he or she does not know how to be grateful. It was inappropriate for him or her to insult his or her leader.

"If the public talks about the President, it is open both through the press or social media, but if the President's assistant does so, it is improper," he said.

Jokowi, Tjahjo said, was not affected by the insult. He did not reprimand the said minister either, Tjahjo said, because he (the President) was focused on working for his people.

"Pak President disclosed now that the focus is on working [...] the ministers should not be affected by the issue of a Cabinet reshuffle, so as to enable them to focus," Tjahjo added. (hhr)
