A representative of the drivers, Maizar, offered an apology to the victim's family and appealed to the public not to avoid taking D01 minivans. 'Our income decreased drastically after the incident,' he said as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
South Jakarta Police spokesman Comr. Aswin said he would pass the support on to investigators. On June 19 at midnight, a driver, identified only as DAS, 21, allegedly raped a female passenger on Jl. TB Simatupang, East Cilandak, South Jakarta, after offering the victim transportation from her workplace in Kebayoran Lama to her house in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
