Guess what?: Yayan inspired by Japan

JP

Actor Yayan Ruhiyan, famous for his role as Mad Dog in The Raid action saga, says that he has learned self-discipline from filming Yakuza Apocalypse in Japan.

The film is directed by Takashi Mike and produced by Nikkatsu Chofu studio.

'€œThe most interesting part is [the Japanese] fighting spirit and self-discipline. Japanese people are very disciplined in all parts of their life,'€ the 46-year-old said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

In the new film, Yayan plays Kyoken, a Yakuza member who dresses as an otaku, a die-hard fan of comic books. Kyoken draws his power from his honesty.

'€œI'€™m very grateful, very proud to be part of this movie,'€ said the actor, who hails from Tasikmalaya in West Java.

King Barrett is set to compete against Dolph Ziggler in the upcoming WWE tour in Singapore on July 2. Tickets are available online at www.sportshubtix.sg
