The film is directed by Takashi Mike and produced by Nikkatsu Chofu studio.
'The most interesting part is [the Japanese] fighting spirit and self-discipline. Japanese people are very disciplined in all parts of their life,' the 46-year-old said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
In the new film, Yayan plays Kyoken, a Yakuza member who dresses as an otaku, a die-hard fan of comic books. Kyoken draws his power from his honesty.
'I'm very grateful, very proud to be part of this movie,' said the actor, who hails from Tasikmalaya in West Java.
