For the third time, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) must admit defeat. Hadi Purnomo's pretrial challenge was upheld by the South Jakarta District Court and presents yet another test for the KPK in its struggle to remain in the hearts and minds of the public as a credible institution for eradicating corruption. Your comments:
I question the rationale and effectiveness of having former police and military officers in KPK leadership.
Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama and President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo are two examples of highly principled leaders whose integrity and dedication to a good uncompromising understanding of 'public servant' can command or form formidable force of leadership.
I prefer to see, candidates for KPK leadership positions, highly principled individuals trained in law with clean untainted reputations.
