ctress Dian Sastrowardoyo has canceled her part in the upcoming movie 3 Srikandi (3 Heroines) due to the recent Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) outbreak in South Korea.
Inspired by three Indonesian female athletes that won medals at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, South Korea, the movie is set in the South Korean capital.
However local production house Multivision Plushas had to postpone the shooting schedule as a result of the virus outbreak.
"So, we had to run a new schedule, but Dian could not follow our new schedule because she already signed a contract for another movie,' Multivision Plus promotion manager Vera said as quoted by Tribunnews.com on Tuesday.
Multivision has replaced Dian with another actress Bunga Citra Lestari. Bunga will partner with actresses Tara Baso and Chelsea Islan in the movie. (ika)(++++)
