Military burial: Second Cpl

Your comments on the crash involving an aging C-130 Hercules military transport plane, shortly after takeoff, killing more than 110 in Medan on Wednesday:
The day I fear most strikes. It was indeed very disheartening to hear about the ungainly accident of our Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft in Medan on Tuesday, June 30.
The presence of our Aircraft Manufacturing Company PTDI seems so useless and ignored with accidents such as this occurring.
I wish our pilots were more selective and choosy when requesting to fly such huge aircraft (or any aircraft).
I understand that many heads will 'roll' following the air accident the other day.
The request of the late pilot to return to base after two minutes of flight after takeoff was a clear sign of the technical problems he was facing.
The 'black box' shall indicate what technical problems have taken place, which nobody can deny. I fully agree with the comment (instruction) of the President to have all the aircraft of the Air Force audited. The C-130 Hercules is like the C-47 Dakota, both were manufactured in the US, both are the work-horses of the air and are still flying today, showing the its pride in good and proper maintenance.
To ease the problem, the President can request the flag carrier Garuda Indonesia's management to share advice on this very important issue of the accident. Let us agree on what a difficult situation the Air Force is placed in; with the very large territory of our archipelago to care for.
My condolences to the grieving families of our Indonesian Air Force.

Hercules planes are basically heavy-duty trucks with wings and the age is a very secondary issue ' most important is proper maintenance ' meaning don't just pretend that maintenance was done and sign off on it but really perform maintenance checks.

A civilian who stated that he had previously flown in an Indonesian Air Force C130 was rather revealing in that he stated that it was' only a short trip, so people were standing'. The same principle adopted by death-trap sea ferries of piling as many people on as possible to maximize profit, with a disregard for the principles of the aerodynamic requirements of maximum all up weight and correct distribution.
The 737 that crashed a few years ago, in the same neighborhood, allegedly was overloaded with durian was it not?
