T Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) bus operator PT Mayasari Bakti is set to procure 51 units of articulated Swedish-made Scania buses to add to its fleet.
Transjakarta president director ANS Kosasih said that the Scania buses would be purchased through the National Procurement Agency's (LKPP) e-catalogue.
'Mayasari Bakti will soon make the purchase. The buses are expected to start operating early next year at the latest,' Kosasih said on Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.
He said the buses would have the same specifications as those recently procured by Transjakarta.
