s many as 213 mathematicians from 24 countries on four continents are taking part in the seventh Southeast Asian Mathematics Society (SEAMS) international conference in Yogyakarta as of this Tuesday.
The five-day conference, which was held at Gadjah Mada University (UGM)'s Management School Hall and themed 'Enhancing the role of Mathematics in Interdisciplinary Research', will present 197 papers and 17 guest speakers from the Netherlands, India, the United States, Finland, Sweden and Qatar.
'The event is also a forum for researchers and lecturers to share information and research in the field of mathematics,' said organizing committee head Irwan Endrayanto.
