Guess what?: Joko Anwar's film goes to Venice, Toronto

It's unusual to see a film compete in two of four major international film festivals at the same time, but Joko Anwar's A Copy of My Mind will make its way to the Venice International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.
The Venice film festival also has non-competition events scheduled to be held on Sept. 2 to 12, while the all-competition Toronto film festival is slated for Sept. 10 to 20.
'I didn't expect the film to be at the prestigious competitions,' he said on Thursday. 'I would have been pleased if it was up for screening.'
A Copy of My Mind is Joko's fifth feature film, his first romantic drama with a political backdrop based on the presidential election last year.
'The film project won last year's Asian Market Project at the Busan International Film Festival and received grants from CJ E&M for its production,' said Joko.
