Pertamina Lubricants collaborates with Lamborghini

T Pertamina Lubricants (PL), a subsidiary of the state-run oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has collaborated with Lamborghini to conduct car grease research for super fast and high-tech vehicles.
Following joint research with the Italian manufacturer, PL produced the Fastron Platinum SAE OW-40 for upscale cars and the Fastron Platinum Racing SAE 10W-60 for sports cars.
The grease for the cars was tested in Italy and the Fastron Platinum Racing products received special approval from Lamborghini.
According to PL president director Gigih WH Irianto, the Italian manufacturer had also selected Pertamina as its technical partner for its motorsports activities, namely Lamborghini Super Trofeo and Lamborghini GT3.
"Pertamina Fastron has been trusted as the official grease producer for every Trofeo race and has been the full supporter of the Lamborghini GT3 team in the world championships; the cooperation started in 2015 and will last until 2019," said Gigih on Tuesday as quoted by Antara news agency.
He added that Pertamina Fastron had also been trusted as the official car grease for the 129 Lamborghini dealers around the world.
In addition to the two premier car grease products, PL also introduced three new variants of Fastron lubricants: Fastron Gold 5W-40 and Fastron Gold 0W-20 for modern vehicles and completely built-up (CBU) cars with high-tech engine technology, and Fastron Techno 10W-30, which features fuel-saving advantages and is specifically designed for daily users.
