Martial artist and actor Yayan Ruhian admires Dian Sastrowardoyo's dexterity in performing the fighting scenes in their latest film, Gangster.
'I'm impressed with Dian; we only practiced the movement for a few hours. She could master it well in no time,' he said as quoted by Antara news agency.
Yayan, who starred in The Raid and The Raid 2: Berandal, added that he was surprised when he was told that Dian would be his co-star in the new scenes.
'I never thought I would be sharing the scene with her. Unfortunately, it was just a brief one,' he said, laughing.
The 46-year-old said that although he had been playing in action movies for several times, he found that each film had its own challenges.
'Each film is different; even a drama movie, I think, is difficult because it usually has long lines and requires you to develop chemistry with co-stars,' he said.
