ouse of Representatives Deputy Speaker Fahri Hamzah said he did not take seriously the move made by fellow lawmakers to file a report with the House's Ethics Committee regarding a controversial statement.
'Oh please,' Fahri said when asked about the move.
Last week, Fahri sent a tweet from his handle @Fahrihamzah, saying that some of members of the House were 'a bit stupid'.
'You're smart but you are not elected, so what,' Fahri said playfully, adding the hashtag #Rada2Bloon (a bit stupid).
Responding to the statement on Monday, lawmaker Inas Nasrullah Zubir filed a report with the ethics committee.
Inas also demanded Fahri make a public apology. Fahri has been known as a loudmouth who is prone to making controversial statements.
