'The bone fractures have been handed over to the Oksibil Hospital,' Papua Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Rudolf Patrige said on Sunday.
Patrige said as many as 45 residents of Okmakot hamlet led by its customary chief Marsel Sasaka visited the crash site on Saturday and conducted a ritual. The villagers believe that many parts of the bodies of the victims have yet to be removed from the site. The hospital's director Finansia Emilia Watungadha said the bone fractures would soon be handed over to the Disaster Victim Identification team at the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Jayapura for further identification.
