34-year-old woman, identified as MF, died on Wednesday after jumping from the fourth floor of a parking lot at a wholesale shopping center in Permata Hijau, Kebayoran, South Jakarta.
Kebayoran Lama sub-precinct police Comr. Riftazudin said CCTV footage showed MF arriving at the multistorey parking lot at 10 a.m., climbing the 80-centimeter separator wall and jumping.
'We suspect that she committed suicide, but we are still investigating the case,' he told kompas.com on Wednesday.
Security officer Rizal saw that MF was about to jump, Riftazudin added, but was unable to prevent her from doing so, as he was on the ground floor. MF's body was taken to Fatmawati Hospital in South Jakarta.
