nother Australian was found dead in Mentawai Islands regency, West Sumatra, on Wednesday, the second such incident to occur in less than two weeks.
Adam Albert Dube died on a diving trip with friends, Mengawau Ajun Police chief Sr. Comr. Reko Indro Sasongo said as quoted by tempo.co on Thursday.
The police suspect that Dube was drunk when he went diving as he had been drinking beforehand, Reko said. When Dube's friends returned to the surface, he was nowhere to be found.
A search and rescue team was deployed and found Dube's body near Sipora Island on Wednesday morning. The police sent the body to Padang, West Sumatra.
