AKARTA: Musician Ahmad Dhani, 43, is lending his songwriting skills to the debut album of his two sons, Ahmad El Jalaluddin Rumi and Ahmad Abdul Qodir Jaelani, who are in the group called Ahmad Bersaudara.

For the upcoming debut album, Dhani has prepared several 1970s-inspired songs, according to news portal kompas.com.

'€œI wrote several songs in the same genre. I can say that they are in the genre of the early Beatles,'€ he said during the recent release of Ahmad Bersaudara'€™s single, '€œJika Kau Percaya'€ (If You Believe), in Jakarta.

Dhani called the upcoming album Balita (toddler), as it marked the beginning of their sons'€™ musical journey.

'€œThis is their journey. I will not control them. They have freedom to decide where they want to go.'€
