The number of Indonesian victims of the recent crane accident at Mecca'€™s grand mosque reached 10 on Monday, the Foreign Ministry reported.

The number was confirmed after the identification process being conducted by a search and rescue team found another three Indonesian victims, the ministry'€™s protection of Indonesian citizens director Lalu Muhammad Iqbal said in a press release on Monday.

'€œThe identification process, as of 1 p.m. Monday, local time, [has confirmed that] another three [Indonesians] have died,'€ Lalu said.

The three newly identified victims are Sriyana Marjo Sihono, Masadi Saiman Tarimin and Siti Rukayah Abdus Somad.

The Foreign Ministry had yet to receive any new information regarding pilgrims who were still hospitalized and those who were already discharged from hospitals, kompas.com reported.

According to the ministry'€™s data so far, the incident has affected some 51 Indonesian pilgrims, killing 10 and injuring 41. (nov)(++++)
