 We should learn to organize the election schedule. It is usual that some trouble emerges at the beginning of new system. The General Elections Commission (KPU), in my opinion, should run the local election in accordance with the schedule and seek to fix the problems one by one.

A delay only shows our poor commitment to what we have arranged together.

 It is now easier to run as an independent in these elections. And given the public disdain and distaste of anything connected with political parties, big and small, running as an indie will be an asset.

We would strongly recommend Jakarta Governor Basuki '€œAhok'€ Tjahaja Purnama to take advantage of this. His present popularity will then not be watered down by being tainted from any connection with whichever party.
