he Jakarta Police, in collaboration with the force's Gegana bomb squad and the Indonesian Navy, have been searching for evidence that may help solve the murder of University of Indonesia student Akseyna Ahad Dori, who was found floating in the university's lake in March.
The joint team is looking for the murder weapon on the lakebed using a Navy-owned sonar magnetic device usually employed in search and rescue missions, according to Jakarta Police criminal detective director Sr. Comr. Khrisna Murti.
'We have been looking for the evidence using the device since Sunday evening, and some team members have been diving in the lake, but we have yet to find the evidence,' Khrisna said on Monday.
The police, he added, had previously found a significant clue that had convinced them the evidence was on the lakebed.
