ast Java-based Brawijaya University won the 28th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNas) after snatching 10 gold medals in the annual research competition.
Held on Oct. 5 to 9 at Halu Oleo University in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, the competition fielded six categories, including entrepreneurship, invention and scientific publications. Each category was divided again into several theme-based subcategories.
Brawijaya students, for example, won gold medals for their research on the implementation of the carbon bank concept for local residents and on the introduction of the Smart Automatic Pasteurization Technology (SENOPATI) for local dairy farmers.
'The success must be attributed to the hard work of our students and lecturers,' Brawijaya deputy rector Osfar Sjofjan told The Jakarta Post on Saturday
