olice arrested an Indian national on Sunday who had been on Interpol'€™s wanted list for his alleged involvement in 15 to 25 murder cases in his country.

Kumar Mohan, 56, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. local time soon as he arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport from Sydney, Australia on a Garuda Indonesia flight.

'€œWe were informed that the suspect was going to Bali by the Australian police. So we arrested the suspect as he arrived in Bali,'€ the Denpasar Police general crimes division chief, Comr. Reinhard Habonaran Nainggolan, said.

'€œThe suspect was an Interpol fugitive. It was noticed that the suspect has [allegedly] masterminded around 15 to 25 murders in India,'€ he added.

Reinhard explained that the suspect was now under arrest in the Denpasar Police headquarters. '€œWe will report the arrest to the National Police headquarters to follow up on the arrest,'€ Reinhard explained.
