ilm producer Sheila Timothy will receive a 2015 Motion Picture Association Award (ACE) at CineAsia 2015 on Dec. 10 at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong.
'In addition to being a producer, Sheila has made great strides with the MPA in promoting copyright education,' said Andrew Sunshine, co-managing director of CineAsia, as quoted by filmjournal.com.
'We are delighted to partner with the MPA to give this award each year. Our partnership with them continues to recognize those within our industry who are working hard to protect the rights of all films around the region.'
Sheila and her husband Luki Wanandi established LifeLike Pictures in 2008.
Three of LifeLike Pictures' productions, The Forbidden Door, Modus Anomali and Tabula Rasa, have achieved commercial and critical success.
Sheila's future projects include the family drama Sidewalk Dog and WS212, a silat adventure/fantasy.
