aving been absent from the business for 13 years, actress Sha Ine Febriyanti has had to readjust to return to the silver screen for Djenar Maesa Ayu's Nay.
'I needed to adapt myself to film again,' the 39-year-old said as quoted by kompas.com.
Although she had not been in a movie for so long, Ine said she never completely left acting, as she performed a lot in theater.
'Stage acting is different from film. I have huge energy, and I can express it all while I'm on the stage. While in film, you have to be able to restrict the excessive energy, so it won't look over the top,' she said.
Ine said that since 1992, she had only appeared in two films, as she had been quite selective in accepting roles for films.
'I need to trust the directors before I agree to play in a movie. I must fall in love with the story, too,' she said.
