I want to thank Rizal Ramli for his efforts to cleanse the government of rats. Ministers and officials should be loyal to the people, not to their bosses.

Eduard Iseli

The systemic corruption in the country has been so deeply entrenched for more than 70 years that corruption cannot be easily detected or intercepted.

Rizal Ramli has defied President Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo'€™s instruction that his Cabinet members avoid making contradictory public statements.

It is the President'€™s task to manage his cabinet and encourage them to perform well but Rizal Ramli was right to uncover corrupt ministers and government officials.

The President should bear it in mind that the Indonesian people are behind Rizal in his efforts to fight corruption and sack corrupt ministers and government officials.
