Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro said on Tuesday night that director general of taxation Sigit Priadi Pramudito had tendered his resignation.
'He has resigned because he failed to meet his targets,' Bambang said.
Bambang had, he said, replaced Sigit with Ken Dwijugiastadi, a senior Finance Ministry official.
The tax directorate general expects a shortfall of up to Rp 150 trillion (US$10.9 billion) in tax revenue for this year from the Rp 1.29 quadrillion target set in the revised 2015 state budget. (dan)
