ctress Laura Basuki celebrated her birthday with her family and newborn son while recovering from giving birth at Medistra Hospital in South Jakarta.
Laura turned 28 on Jan. 9, two days after giving birth to her first son, Owen Wijaya, kapanlagi.com reported.
Her mother Thi Kieu Tien said on Sunday that the baby's delivery was quick. Laura was still in the hospital as of Sunday.
'She felt the contraction at 2:30 a.m. and the baby was born at 4:30 a.m. Leo told me that the baby had been born by normal delivery when I was still on my way to the hospital,' she said, referring to Laura's husband Leo Wijaya.
Laura and Leo got married in June 2011.
Kieu Tien said Laura had told her that Owen was her greatest birthday gift and that she did not want any other presents, so the family only bought noodles and chicken fried rice to celebrate her birthday.
