President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo must have thought about the consequential eviction of people whose land is to be acquired for the high-speed railway project.
We knew all along that the authorities would compensate people for all the land taken for the project.
My logical thinking dictates that the government will provide proper and fair commercial fees in the form of a share in the railway tolls. Many will simply envy these affected landowners.
We should have done this long ago; it really takes the courage of Jokowi, the President. Bravo!
