Your comment on the ninth economic stimulus packages made by the government to stabilize beef supplies and prices by diversifying beef import sources and deregulating logistics:

Why should it be beef? During the Sukarno era in the 1960s it was advised to take mice meat as an alternative for dairy protein and bulgur (in developed countries used to feed horses) as an alternative for carbohydrates; and we have a lot of these, so don'€™t worry, be happy.

Of course adding a VAT would increase the selling price! What were they thinking? The price would drop?

Don'€™t we have even one thinking person in the government?

The consumers are getting squeezed, milked for every rupiah we have!

To lower the cost of living for Indonesians, remove all tariffs and blockages and bring benefits to the masses, not a few farmers who do not know better and pay politicians for their twisted logic!

'€œAs a result, the price of beef in local markets has soared from Rp 92,000 (US$6.60) to Rp 130,000 per kilogram'€.

Interesting calculation; the implementation of 10 percent (VAT) results in the price jumping from Rp 92k to Rp 130k... only in Indonesia.

Indonesia is self-sufficient in rats.

Learn to eat rat meat (not to be confused with red meat), then all your problems will be solved.
