Race-car driver Rifat Sungkar is a loyal customer of the Sony PlayStation gaming console and says that playing racing games has helped him a lot in his career.
'I love to play games and I never play them on smartphones. I always play on my PlayStation,' Rifat told The Jakarta Post.
Rifat said that he had been playing games since he was in elementary school.
'I have experienced the development of the PlayStation gaming console from its first generation until the current PlayStation 4,' he said.
Being a long-time gamer, Rifat considers himself a bit of an old-school, conservative player.
'I like playing games but I have never been an addicted gaming freak. Nowadays, games have become more addictive because they are fully integrated with the internet, download facilities and social media,' Rifat said.
'Games today want to make their users become totally addicted because they integrate with any gadgets that the users have. That way, users are completely attached to their games. I, on the other hand, am a bit old-school. I do not want to be completely attached to games all the time,' he said.
As a racer, Rifat said that his game collections consisted mostly of car and racing games. He added that some of the racing games in his collection simulated the real world in such a realistic fashion that he often used them for practice.
Rifat said he used a smartphone for his daily communicating but admitted he was not expert enough to know what kind of smartphone he was using.

handling and is a very user-friendly game.
Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto is a great car-related game. However, I prefer the old series of Grand Theft Auto. The current one has too much abuse in its storylines. The latest Grand Theft Auto has become more than just a car game in a way that I don't really dig.
World Rally Championship
This is the most realistic game for rally simulation. Whenever I spend too much time off the rally track, I warm up using this game. In my garage, I have a special seating and controls setup for playing this game. It hones my instinct and senses.
