Jokowi said such news articles made people pessimistic and discouraged investors.

He has since gained control as most of the political parties have pledged support for the government.
Jakarta-based pollster Indikator Politik revealed on Monday that the President currently enjoyed a 67 percent approval rating, the highest since he took office.
